With its felt-lined base, this board sits beautifully on any table. Traditional Go boards can sometimes warp slightly over time, but the felt backing on this board helps prevent warping and minimizes cracking due to humidity or temperature shifts.
The scale is finished with a ridge crafted using genuine lacquer and a traditional Japanese katana by a master Go board craftsman.

This product has been stored for about 10 years after production, so its luster may be slightly inferior to other go bowls.
