A beautiful table Go board has refined grain and even color. There is a string-like leaf knot running from one side edge  across the top surface and extending to the bottom surface. The flat-grain pattern  extends over the first three squares from the edge of the board. Please note that the flat-grain pattern is visible across three squares at the very edge of the board.
The scale is finished with a ridge crafted using genuine lacquer and a traditional Japanese katana by a master Go board craftsman.
