This is an all-heartwood board with a deep, consistent reddish tone. Please note that there is some blue stain (natural mineral discoloration) visible on the player's side.
The scale is finished with a ridge crafted using genuine lacquer and a traditional Japanese katana by a master Go board craftsman.
